About the organization

TLC International School was started by an RPCV in 2006. We opened our doors with just 12 students in preschool and kindergarten. Today the student population has grown to approximately 180 students from a dozen countries. The academic staff now consists of approximately forty employees from fifteen countries around the world, making TLC a truly international community with over two dozen countries represented amongst both staff and students collectively. TLC International School is now a fully accredited PS-12 school which continues to strive to offer the highest quality education at an affordable price for the students.

Duties

The position is for a special education teacher. The duties include developing IEPs for individual students. Conducting pull out sessions and shadow teaching with special need students and working with the classroom teachers to advocate and develop best practices for these students. We are looking for someone who is concerned not only about the the academics, but the SEL of the students.

Qualifications

All candidates must have at least two years of teaching experience. They must also have a teaching certificate or in the process of obtaining their teaching certificate. They must have a growth mindset, be patient, flexible, and vested in getting the most out of our students.

Salary

$26,000 along with furnished housing, utilities, round trip air fare, insurance, and moving in allowance
