Saving Amy

About the organization

Public Allies Arizona is changing the face and practice of leadership throughout Arizona communities by demonstrating our conviction that everyone can lead, and that lasting change results when citizens of all backgrounds step up, take responsibility, and work together.

We are currently seeking young activists, creators, aspiring entrepreneurs, civic engagers, and dreamers to take charge in their communities. We offer a 10-month, full time PAID apprenticeship program within local nonprofits and state agencies aimed at advancing social justice and equity by engaging and activating the leadership of all young people.

The mission of Saving Amy is to Create Community. Transform Lives. Resolve Homelessness.

The social media/marketing Ally will expand the reach of Saving Amy to serve more families, expand our volunteer database, and establish new community partnerships. The Ally’s capacity-building activities will help Saving Amy connect its current and new families to programs/community partners much more quickly, as well as keep volunteers up-to-date with upcoming volunteer opportunities.
