Duties

Point of contact for staffing management needs for the organization while maintaining confidentiality and integrity
Ensure accuracy of job title(s), job code(s), job descriptions while monitoring and updating as needed in applicant tracking system (ATS)
Conduct day-to-day staffing activities to fill requisitions for all vacancies which includes processing vacancy request forms (VRF), posting vacancies on ADP Workforce Now, and routing jobs to internal and external job boards
Develop and improve the on-boarding process from 0-50% completion from pre-employment process to successful completion of New Hire Orientation (NEO) which includes processing and reviewing new hire packets from hiring managers upon receipt of packet; conducting references checks; and providing candidacy status updates to hiring managers
Support HR Generalist with participation of NEO
Collaborate with HR Generalist with recruitment efforts for the organization which may include assisting and/or participating in career fairs
Process, track, and monitor criminal background check screenings, education credentials, and all clearances and communicate results to hiring managers
Ensure all background clearances included but not limited to: State Central Registry (SCR), Staff Exclusion List (SEL), and all pertinent clearances for both Family Shelters and Children & Youth are uploaded to ADP.

Qualifications

Full vaccination against COVID-19 required.
High School Diploma and/or G.E.D or higher degree preferred in related field.
2-3 year of administrative experience in a high pace environment.
Experience working HRIS systems (especially ADP Workforce Now), preferred.
Engaging personality and detailed orientated skills are essential.
Strong oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills are necessary.
Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills; ability to prioritize.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other standard business technology is required.
