Resource Environmental Solutions LLC

About the organization

We are the nation’s largest and most experienced provider of ecological restoration and water resource solutions. To date, we have restored over 525 stream miles and 62,000 wetland acres, in addition to conserving and preserving 15,000 acres of endangered species habitats. RES operations include planting over 20,000,000 restorative trees and reducing over 280 tons of polluting nutrients. RES ecological solutions enable a balance of economic development and ecological sustainability.

Duties

The mission: to contribute to the restoration of native fish populations and their habitat in California, including Delta smelt, longfin smelt, Chinook salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, and lamprey! Orchestrating large scale fisheries and aquatic driven restoration projects is a delicate matter, so we expect you to be fully actualized on current fisheries and aquatic science research, monitoring efforts, and research practitioners in Central Valley and Bay-Delta.

RES is a complex organism. Together with the support of senior ecological staff, you will design, implement, and monitor restoration projects, in collaboration with a team of fisheries biologists, field ecologists, restoration designers, and environmental land operators. Dealing with this amount of people involves excellent communication skills, a lot of organization skills, and impeccable time management!

We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:

Bachelor's degree in ecology, biology, limnology, or another aquatic-related discipline.
