The Hallmark Fixture Plant Section Manager will direct the activities of non-exempt employees engaged in performing work related to the production and distribution of retail merchandise displays. The principal responsibility of a Section Manager is to supervise 10-45 employees involved in one or more production and/or distribution operation processes. This includes assigning work to department personnel and verifying that production standards are met.
The Section Manager will develop a thorough understanding of the process, to ensure that operations run as efficiently as possible, that cost and safety expectations are met, that execution meets high quality standards, and that focus is put on continually improving the process to exceed customer expectations. The Section Manager is responsible for the counseling, interviewing, training and evaluation of department personnel. In addition, the Section Manager ensures that proper maintenance is performed, good housekeeping practices are maintained, positive employee relations are maintained and safety regulations are followed.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent
2+ years supervising direct reports in an operations environment OR Associates Degree OR pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date before August 2019
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
