The Peace Corps appreciates the contributions of interns in helping to support our mission and takes pride in how this work experience may help shape their future careers The Office of Third Goal & Returned Volunteer Service engages the Peace Corps community to further intercultural understand and support Volunteers through career transitions.


Interns will support our office across a range of activities and projects that promote and maintain Peace Corps’ third goal & returned Volunteer services, both within the agency and externally. Applicants must be available for a minimum of 20/hours per week, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.


•Data analysis & management

•Draft, edit, review, and proofread a variety of informational and programmatic materials

•Customer service to internal & external audience, including R/PCVs

•Provide administrative support

•Maintain program files

•Program support

•Assist with special projects as needed


• Results-driven, people-oriented

• Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to manage data using excel, CRM, and other IT systems as necessary

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to be proactive in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and open to changing tasks and priorities

• Experience working or volunteering overseas in intercultural environments a plus, including recent Peace Corps volunteer service.
