About the organization

Position available with the U. S. Census Bureau in its internationally known Center for Statistical Research and Methodology (CSRM), in the Washington, DC area. Duties

Works with and assists the research staff of CSRM in matters related to research support, e.g., general office work (time-keeping, travel assistance, greeting visitors, assisting with some research projects, proofreading, record keeping, some research assistance with seminars, special systems), data analysis, computer programming, assisting in the writing and reviewing of technical reports/papers.

Qualifications

BA/BS in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or related area; strong communication skills (oral and written); and strong ability to work with others, mostly Ph.D. researchers.
