Our programs span a broad human service spectrum, from behavioral and mental health, child welfare and adoption, family support, job and employment transition, housing, food, transportation or home care assistance for the elderly.


The Refugee Social Integration Specialist is responsible for the provision of services to refugees that lead to their social integration. The Refugee Social Integration Specialist will be responsible for the completion of intakes, assessments, follow-ups, and service planning as well coordination of services in order to help refugees and their families achieve success in their integration into life in the United States. In this role the Refugee Social Integration Specialist will also work across programs such as Preferred Communities, Florida Center for Survivors of Torture, Refugee Resettlement, Match Grant and Comprehensive Refugee Services.


Bachelor’s Degree in education, human services or a related field preferred, 2 years of experience working with refugees preferred; OR equivalent education and life experience.
Cross-cultural experience or cultural diversity training required.
Previous experience working with refugees strongly preferred.
Bilingual, preferably in languages most spoken by clients
Must participate in at least 10 hours training/continuing education each year.
Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and current automobile insurance coverage.


$34,00 - $35,000 salary; depending on experience
