GSA’s core mission is to help federal agencies buy smarter, reduce their real estate footprint, provide efficient, cost saving technology and create a better, faster federal government. We are currently recruiting for Realty Specialist in Public Buildings Service, Real Estate Acquisition Division.


1-Assist in preparing and maintaining current acquisition plans and strategies.

2-Assist in identifying customer space requirements.

3-Prepare and maintain space management and assignment documents for routine transactions.

4-Update and maintain real estate data within systems used to track and administer procurement and billing information.


GS-7: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is providing a basic foundation of realty knowledge which includes performing limited realty technical work, carrying out instructional assignments and complying with policy, laws and regulations.

GS-9: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience involves performing routine technical realty work assignments and projects. The work is reviewed for adequacy and compliance with realty polices and regulations. The experience must include meeting and dealing with a variety of individuals and analyzing and solving realty problems and issues.


GS-7: $42,391.00 GS-9: $52,853.00
