Duties

We are seeking Public Health Analysts that have experience supporting the federal government, commercial, and non-governmental organizations. Considered candidates will have the opportunity to support our nation’s public health initiatives for clients such as the CDC, FDA, NIH and many more. General Duties:

• Coordinate and participate in conferences, workshops and meetings
• Participate in developing and formulating short and long range public health program goals,
objectives, and policies
• Gather, research, and produce materials describing public health topics
• Perform systematic and descriptive literature reviews
• Conduct environmental scans
• Analyze collected data and findings and interpret complex legislative, regulatory, and/or
policy guidance for use in managing public health programs
• Draft communications materials, reports, publications, correspondences or briefs
• Provide analytic support to multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public health principles and practices
• Ability to perform complex analytical studies and interrupt results
• Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally
• Ability to work on multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
• Well versed in Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of related experience in the areas of public health promotion and
prevention
• Master’s Degree in public health, social science, or health services research
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and statistical software such as SAS, SUNDANN, etc. is
preferred
• Background investigation required
