Since 1977, GAC Nigeria has been providing a range of shipping, logistics and marine services at the country’s ports, as well as at oil and gas installations both onshore and offshore Nigeria.

Duties

This is a leadership position coordinating a team working primarily on multi-modal logistical support for client operations.

Primary duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:

1. Handling administrative tasks for the project manager & team.
2. Ordering equipment and supplies for the project.
3. Managing workflow and deadlines.
4. Scheduling meetings and appointments.
5. Maintaining project documentation (plans, reports & budget).
6. Communicating project progress to team members and other stakeholders.
7. Managing project & cost budget.
8. Any other duties assigned.

It will also be your responsibility to comply with the GAC Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Policy and GAC HSSE Manual procedures respecting industrial and personal safety and environmental precautions, always considering the safety of yourself and others. You will have the responsibility and authority to stop any work and report when an unsafe condition or action could result in an undesirable HSSE event.

Qualifications

Experience in Logistics and in living and working in West Africa are desirable.
1. Degree in Business Administration or Management.
2. Must be able to work well under pressure.
3. Must pay attention to details.
4. Must be organized.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to Multitask.
7. Analytical & problem solving skills.
8. 2 years cognate experience.

Salary

Negotiable Based on Experiance
