About the organization

The Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Mission Area is USDA's focal point for the nation's farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners for crop insurance, conservation programs and technical assistance and credit and commodity programs, and disaster programs.

FPAC agencies implement programs designed to mitigate the significant risks of farming through crop insurance services conservation programs and technical assistance, and commodity, lending, and disaster programs.

Farm Service Agency (FSA) has two primary functions: farm programs and farm loan programs. These programs provide a full range of support to producers, from beginning farmers and ranchers who need access to loans to start up their operations to established producers who endured catastrophic weather events and need disaster assistance or a strong financial safety net.

Duties

Responsibilities

•Assists the Farm Loan Team managers, Farm Loan Team Officers and District Directors on farm loan program procedural matters.
•Prepares and processes of loan documents and loan procedural changes.
•Responds to routine inquiries on procedures for Farm Loan Programs.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

Salary

$34,916 to $56,222 per year
