About the organization
We are currently recruiting for Peace Corps/VISTA AmeriCorps Volunteers for Program Support Specialist, you will serve as a resource for management pertaining to new and existing policies for various functions of the office including program business and fleet management.
Location of Position: Office of Fleet Management, Zonal Fleet Management Division, Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), in any of the following locations: Hartford CT, Baltimore, MD, Hooksett, NH, Edison NJ, Buffalo NY, New Cumberland PA, Philadelphia PA, Pittsburgh PA, Chesapeake VA, Richmond VA, Springfield VA
Duties
As a Program Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the management and operation of a fleet and serve as the single source for all Fleet Management services and provide support for assigned customers and supplier accounts.
Major duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Provides assistance to higher level employees and receives continuous on-the job training as well as formal training as appropriate.
Assists higher level specialists with the procurement, management, and disposal of non-tactical vehicles essential to carry out customer agencies missions.
Attend meetings for the program in discussions and committing the agency to a course of action within regulations and established policy and guidelines.
Assist with preparing formal presentations, written narratives and policy analyses.
Resolves conventional administrative support problems, issues and situations in conformance with established criteria.
Assists with meetings and speaks for the program in discussions and committing the agency to a course of action within regulations and established policy and guidelines.
Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure delivery and adequacy of GSA Fleet services.
Qualifications
The education and/or experience required is based on the duties of the position and level of responsibility. A Human Resources specialist will review your application to determine if you meet these requirements.
Salary
$48,652 - $84,441 per year
