The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) seeks a Program Officer to join its Asia-Pacific team in the Washington, DC office, and contribute to the planning, designing and implementation of programs on strengthening civil society, enhancing democratic governance, enhancing women's and other marginalized groups' political participation, and strengthening political parties. This position will support NDI's work in Nepal and other countries. (The Program Officer will be part of a South Asia subteam supporting the Institute's programs for the Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Central Tibetan Administration.) The portfolio is subject to change based on programmatic and funding needs.
This is a full-time position based in the Washington, DC office and does not have direct reports.
This is a union position to be represented by the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 2.
