About the organization

Girls Who Code is a nonprofit organization which aims to support and increase the number of women in computer science by equipping young women with the necessary computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities.


Manage 1-2 local staff, as well as 5-6 remote team members in several countries and across time zones who support our facilitators and ensure girls have a positive experience
Manage planning and logistics of remote training for new staff in target countries; create and update all tools and resources that drive success for the team
Manage all employment contracts for remote staff with People & Culture team
Define structures and protocols to respond to inbound communications from remote staff
Manage logistics for site visits by Girls Who Code staff and leadership when needed


Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in an expansion-oriented role with demonstrated business results; remote management experience a plus
Successful track record in communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on cross-functional projects
Excellent people skills with an ability to balance priorities, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external partners
Strong customer service and personnel support skills, proven ability to manage and respond to a large volume of communication from multiple stakeholders
Strong leadership abilities and willingness to pitch-in, problem solve, and identify areas of improvement across the team
Flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing requirements and shifting priorities; enjoy building and growing programs
Knowledge of computer science education space strongly preferred
Willing to travel internationally up to 25% of time Commitment to Girls Who Code’s mission
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience required

Girls Who Code is an international non-profit organization working to close the gender gap in technology. Girls Who Code is searching for a dynamic, results-oriented Program Implementation Manager to lead a remote team and support international volunteer facilitators in the implementation of our free Clubs Program, including adoption of our custom curriculum delivery system, Girls Who Code HQ. Volunteers are based in Canada, the U.K., India and additional countries.
