The Stevenson Center at Illinois State University promotes community and economic development in the U.S. and abroad. The center cultivates leaders in public service through a unique combination of interdisciplinary coursework, research, professional practice, and community collaboration. The center is home to a Coverdell Peace Corps Fellows program, a Peace Corps Prep program, and much more.
Duties
The Stevenson Center Program Coordinator has significant responsibility in the sustainability and growth of the Stevenson Center for Community and Economic Development. Facilitates the functioning of an interdisciplinary graduate program and community service organization by promoting its programs and services to potential students, community partners, and other stakeholders. Independently responsible for major assignments relating to professional practice placement, student advisement, and recruitment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Master's degree in community and economic development, economics, political science, sociology, or related field completed, or completed by 12-31-21.
2. One (1) year of full-time experience in a related field.
Desired Qualifications: Peace Corps and/or AmeriCorps experience
Salary
$40,000-$45,000
