The Program Assistants will work closely with the Center’s Senior Management Group to support an array of activities that ensure the Center is responsive to its mission of supporting colleagues working abroad and advancing the state of the art in the education sector. Assistants will largely provide support in one of the core Center areas (Policy and Technical Leadership, Country Support, Evidence and Learning, and Program and Cadre Development) but will also cross-train to support one another and other Center areas.

Bachelor’s degree and 1-year relevant experience required
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance required
Experience providing high-quality support to fast moving and hard-working teams
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills; detail-oriented; ability to multitask and prioritize tasks; and able to learn quickly
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills
Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and on own initiative, with flexibility to changing priorities and an eagerness to learn by doing
Interest in international development and education - and commitment to USAID’s mission and improving educational outcomes
Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
