The Procurement and Contracts Specialist provides support to the Sr. Director, Compliance and is responsible for preparing and reviewing legally defensible independent contractor and entity contract agreements, monitoring task progress against agreed-upon statements of work, and resolving billing questions and issues. Also responsible for ensuring procurement practices are followed, including helping to prepare RFPs, and bid analyses and reviewing field procurements to ensure compliance. They will also monitor the reports inbox to file all incoming award milestones.
Bachelors’ degree plus 3 years’ related experience or Master’s degree with 1-year experience
Proficiency with google workspace, word and/or google docs, basic excel, PPT/google slides
Knowledge of USG procurement regulations
International non-profit experience a plus
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; excellent grammar and proof reading skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to work independently
