The Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning Specialist will focus on all aspects of monitoring, evaluation, research and learning for this program, and will coordinate with country team Data Analysts and Information Managers to ensure best practices for qualitative data collection and analysis is followed and to ladder up learnings and trends for sharing with the larger humanitarian and health community. There will be a strong emphasis on creating externally-relevant reports related to intervention-related learning and observations based on a multi-country response in the midst of a global pandemic.
Note: Hiring will be dependent upon receipt of funding. This short-term response project is expected to begin in mid-July 2020, with an anticipated length of six (6) months.

Master's degree or equivalent preferred;
Proven experience working on substantive aspects of multi-pronged, multi-partnered M&E programs, particularly in humanitarian and/or health contexts;
Ability to track various workflows while meeting deadlines and ensuring others meet deadlines;
Experience in conducting baseline surveys, longitudinal studies and largely quantitative analysis;
Knowledge and skill in working with databases and processing and analyzing data from multiple sources;
Prior exposure to methods of impact evaluation;
Competence in Excel;
Data visualization skills are a plus;
Ability to write analytical reports, clearly presenting both data and review;
Ability to train others in specific skills and support skill development;
Familiarity with various research methods, both quantitative and qualitative;
Ability to work as part of a cohesive team, bring forward creative solutions to problems and maintain a commitment to excellence and camaraderie;
Excellent written and spoken English;
Strong knowledge of social media and/or interest in mis/disinformation preferred;
USAID or USG M&E experience is strongly preferred.
