This position is in Region 9, Laboratory Services & Applied Science Division, Regional Laboratory Branch.

Duties

At the entry level of this position, you will:

- Prepare, analyze and evaluate environmental samples for the determination of contaminants and chemical parameters.

- Interpret and evaluate data to determine its significance.

- Implement and adhere to Laboratory Quality Assurance/Quality Control system requirements.

- Modify and validate methods.

- Plan and coordinate field monitoring events.

Qualifications

You need a degree or combination of education and experience as described in the job announcement to qualify for this position.
