Duties

Training Futures prepares low-income, unemployed or underemployed individuals to make the move from low-skill jobs or sporadic employment to stable, middle-skill, office support careers which provide livable wages, benefits and opportunities for professional and personal advancement. It is an innovative training program delivered in a simulated office environment.

We are seeking a resourceful, solution-oriented Partner Relationship Manager (PRM) to identify promising partnerships, educate partners about our program and cultivate mutually beneficial relationships. At Training Futures, partnerships are key to driving graduate outcomes and also support several facets of the robust jobs training program including internship opportunities, guest speakers, curriculum development among others. The successful incumbent will create strategies to identify and pursue new partnerships as well as engage and grow existing relationships. Partnerships include social service and non-profit referral agencies, industry groups, employers and employee interest groups. The PRM will oversee our internship program for Training Futures clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; Associate’s degree required.
At least five (5) years’ work experience and two (2) years’ experience in related field such as sales, account management, partnerships or a customer service role.
Strong written and oral communication skills including comfort using the phone, public speaking and strong formal presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build trust, rapport and maintain relationships; Strong customer service orientation and ‘can-do,’ solutions-focused attitude.
Resourceful; Ability to identify connections and pursue introductions; comfort cold calling; Strategic marketing and outreach.
Collaborative and responsive team player committed to achieving team success metrics.
Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
May be called upon to work outside of normal working hours to attend weekend and evening networking events and resource fairs.
Successful completion of background checks required upon hire.
