Fabric Health

About the organization

Fabric Health exists to improve the health and wellbeing of busy families. We do this by turning a weekly chore into meaningful time to get, understand, and use benefits. Since our inception in 2021, we’ve been at the forefront of social impact, recognized by Fast Company and Forbes for our exceptional service to thousands of families. We’re on a mission to change the way families access healthcare and public benefits, and we do it in a place you’d least expect - laundromats!

We are looking for new team members in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, DC and Maryland!

Building relationships with families in laundromats
Understanding the unique needs of these families and identifying where they need support
Assisting families with public benefits applications like Medicaid, SNAP, and LIHEAP, as well as helping them navigate their health plans
Making referrals to external resources

In-person laundromat engagement: Willingness to work inside laundromats, creating meaningful connections (don’t worry - you don’t have to do laundry!)

Tech savvy: Comfort with and desire to learn new technologies
