Duties

At the GS-11 Strategic Communications Coordinator level:

● Assist with the development, editing, distribution, and publishing of OTI communications products, including annual reports, country program reporting, fact sheets, briefing books, brochures, success stories, videos, and web-based materials;

● Track, manage, and coordinate clearances across the office in response to information requests (Taskers);

● Assist with the management of digital content across OTI's social media accounts and assist with campaigns involving other USAID offices, and update internal and external websites;

● Assist with cultivating and managing professional relationships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), implementers, international donors, USAID, U.S. government agencies and other organizations of importance to OTI programs in Washington and the field, serving as a liaison to coordinate communications activities;

● Support Communication Team with responses to media inquiries in a timely fashion;

● Assist in the preparation of presentations and briefings used to engage internal and external audiences;

● Assist in the development and implementation of OTI’s office-level and country-specific strategic communications plans and monitoring/supporting implementation of plans;

Qualifications

At a minimum, the offeror must have:

At the GS-11 Strategic Communications Coordinator level:

(1) A Master's degree with a minimum of three (3) years of work experience;

OR

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of four (4) years of work experience;

AND

(2) Demonstrated experience updating, creating, and managing an organization’s online/digital properties and multimedia projects.

(3) Demonstrated experience coordinating written/print reports and products.

At the GS-12 Strategic Communications Specialist level:

(1) A Master's degree with a minimum of four (4) years of work experience;

OR

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience;

AND

(2) Demonstrated experience updating, creating, and managing an organization’s online/digital properties and multimedia projects

(3) Demonstrated experience coordinating print reports and products.
