Partners for Rural Impact was born out of our place-based partnership in Appalachia, where we’ve worked for 25 years to create student opportunity and success.

The NH SFEC Outreach and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing digital and in-person outreach and marketing activities hosted by the NH Statewide Family Engagement Center (NH SFEC). The position will work with other SFEC staff, community partners, educators, and families to coordinate, produce, and distribute marketing materials and create a tiered communications infrastructure to further Dr. Karen Mapp’s Dual Capacity Model of school and family engagement with local and statewide partners. The position will also assist with local and regional trainings.

Duties

Develops digital and print outreach, marketing, and training materials supporting SFEC activities across the state of NH.
Develops, compiles, and posts content for social media and web supporting the NH SFEC.
Creates effective storytelling through audio and video tools.
Assists with the coordination and implementation of regional and statewide events produced by and partnered with the NH-SFEC.
Assists with the coordination and implementation of regional training and workshop events focused on families and educators.
Coordinates the editing, placement, and flow of external SFEC communications including email marketing, newsletters, event announcements, and others.
Manages contact databases for state and regional level events including the SFEC Advisory Council.
Supports SFEC Staff with the design and delivery virtual and in-person presentations, workshops, and events for public awareness of NH SFEC programs.  
Employs strategies to specifically engage and inform populations traditionally under-represented in family engagement regionally and statewide.
Collaborates with multiple teams and stakeholders in a creative, team-oriented environment.
Monitors digital engagement analytics and make recommendations to SFEC leadership for optimization.    
Contributes to continuous quality improvements throughout the year via special projects, trainings, work groups, and evaluations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, public affairs or related field or any bachelors degree plus 2-3 years relevant professional experience.

Experience required to ensure success in this position:

Three to Five years of experience providing direct services to educators, families and/or children. 

Outreach and marketing experience centered on promoting awareness of programs to the public through effective strategies designed to maximize reach and awareness.

Experience with web technologies, tools and delivery systems, including content management systems (CMS), such as HTML, XHTML, CSS.

Proficiency working within all Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint and One Drive, and ability to operate software on a variety of platforms.  
Proficiency with communications and event management software such as Eventbrite, Mail Chimp, and Constant Contact.  
Demonstrated proficiency in the ability to express orally and in writing, complex programs and procedures to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information.
Experience with digital design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media tools/channels (Facebook, Instagram).
Experience delivering public presentations and trainings both virtually and in-person.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
