Duties

Program Description:

The IT Department is responsible for planning, developing, acquiring, implementing and maintaining all of TechnoServe’s global IT systems.

Position Description:

The Network Administrator is responsible for managing inter-networking equipment, servers, desktop, laptops and networking equipment in the US offices. This position works to maintain a 99% uptime of critical business IT systems. They administer all user accounts creation and manage Single Sign On (Okta) integration. This position also supervises user support for US staff, and assists field staff Help Desk tickets related to access to corporate applications. The Network Administrator is also responsible for maintaining hardware standards, hardware inventory and system maintenance contracts.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with minimum 7 years of experience in a Client/Server environment; or Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience.
AWS Administration Experience
Experience administering Windows 10, Microsoft Windows servers, Microsoft Active Directory and VMWare
Highly proficient in all MS operating systems
Knowledge of PC and MAC hardware
Familiarity with firewalls, routers, switches, wireless APs and MACs

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certifications a plus
AWS Certifications a plus
VMWare Certifications a plus
Languages: English required; Fluency in Spanish, French or Portuguese preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks
Able to work independently; enthusiastic self-starter
Interested in IT career in a mission-driven organization
Must be a quick learner and be able to adapt quickly
Supervisory Responsibilities - Manages a Help Desk Assistant
