Richland County Health Department's Communities in Action Corps program develops stronger communities in rural, frontier, and tribal communities across Montana by improving the capacity of local public health, and their partners, to lead communities in addressing social determinants of health challenges.

Duties

Fort Peck Tribal Health, in conjunction with Richland County Health Department, is looking for direct service AmeriCorps members to serve in frontier Montana. Members would be responsible for pulling and analyzing health care data to provide reporting and analysis of COVID-19 investigations and increasing efficiencies. Members will work closely with tribal health members to identify and recommend changes to the internal process to ensure future response to emergencies will be as effective as possible. Specific tasks include community outreach, identify needs for development, and provide support to decision makers and end users to understand, define, and document current and possible future goals, needs and requirements.

Qualifications

Cultural competence, sensitivity, leadership, diversity and inclusion. Strong communication skills and adaptability are required.
