Duties

Support Project MEL

Lead the development and maintenance of key Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) documents, including the SEEK MEL Plan and standard and custom performance indicators.
Manage a streamlined MEL reporting process across the project and draft all quarterly and annual reports.
Develop a toolkit of MEL resources, including data collection approaches, analytics tools, standardized processes, and reporting templates.
Develop and maintain a system that will provide efficiencies in data collection, management, consolidation and synthesis, allowing for more automation and efficiency.
Support the work planning process and provide specific input related to MEL.
Data Analysis & Visualization

Work with Task Area Leads to communicate MEL data and to help develop creative interventions that support and improve learning with data-driven decision making. This includes developing analytics dashboards, databases, infographics, presentations, and other visual aids as needed.
Contextualize data for meaningful insights by developing metrics that will relate to specific goals. Potentially expanding cross-cutting metrics to assess Office-wide goals across task areas.
Strengthening team members capacity for data analysis and visualization, as needed
Support Sharing of Project Results and Lessons Learned

Collaborate with technical specialists and Task Area Leads.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of work experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning. Experience should include developing data collection, management, and analysis tools/processes, data visualization, indicator development, and adaptive management or in a related field (i.e., Knowledge management, instructional design, organizational learning, adult education, international development).
Ability to design an efficient process to capture and share key project data and learnings on an ongoing basis and to use those data to develop effective reports that share out project learning with the client and others on the SEEK team.
Experience with data visualization platforms (Google Data Studio, Tableau, Powerbi, etc.) to develop customized dashboards that support adaptive management at all levels.
Ability to listen and synthesize, orally and in writing, the key themes from data gathered in interviews, background documents, and group discussions
Genuine and demonstrated curiosity about effective MEL approaches to individual, team and organizational development and learning and how they can contribute to our clients’ success.
Knowledge and experience working with USAID, particularly in the environmental and natural resource management areas
Interest in and ability to quickly learn the technical language, key issues, and culture of the USAID offices
Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, including technical experts, and adult learning and OD specialist
