Duties

Conduct and coordinate a variety of broad range administrative management studies relative to administrative budget required to support the organization.

Plan, coordinate, and implement the OC administrative budget including: formulating long range and short-range spending plans; developing operating budgets.

Serve as the OC point of contact working within OC, across CMS and with other Central Offices (CO), Regional Offices (RO), and other agencies on issues related to the organization's budget.

Regularly reconcile data and develop financial reports.

Qualifications

You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: 1) Planning, coordinating, and implementing an organization's budget; 2) Analyzing expenditures, reconciling budgets and recommending reprogramming of money to meet ongoing needs; 3) Monitoring funding and spending data to develop financial reports; and 4) Using advance Microsoft Excel (features such as Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, and Table Objects) and Microsoft Power BI to manage financial data.

Substitution of Education for Experience: There is no substitution of education to meet the specialized experience requirement at the GS-12 grade level.

Combination of Experience and Education: There is no combination of experience and education to meet the specialized experience requirement at the GS-12 grade level.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience

Salary

$86,335 to $112,240 per year
