Annually, GCJFCS supports more than 40,000 people throughout Florida. Our programs are designed to protect children from abuse and neglect; to help people overcome substance abuse, to manage mental health, or to gain control of debilitating behaviors; to care for and connect seniors to needed services; to provide emergency financial and food assistance to support Holocaust survivors; and to welcome and help resettle refugees from around the world.

Duties

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will oversee the Medical Unit for all ORR programs. You will be responsible for initial hygiene assessment, ensuring medical care of UAC, medical protocol development, and training of medical staff. The Medical Nurse is responsible for maintaining and overseeing working relationships with medical service providers with local and state medical providers. Will assist Director in identifying care providers who will accept ORR’s fee for service payment.

Qualifications

Minimum Licensed Practical Nurse is required, however, Registered Nurse preferred. Must be licensed by the State of Florida.
Two years’ professional experience and 2 years’ experience working with children.
Must be certified in CPR.
Spanish/English Bilingual preferred.
Must be computer literate.

Salary

Salary up to $65,000 depending on experience
