Duties

Design and write engaging pedagogical sessions, in collaboration with programme teams, using instructional design principles for adult learners that prepare teachers, school leaders, and their coaches for specific and distinct educational contexts.
Create and edit innovative learning materials (such as trainer guides, audio, video, slides, readings, simulations, role plays) aimed to bring about sustainable changes in classroom practices and school leadership.
Quickly synthesize, refine, and develop content based on input from subject matter experts and data from previous training courses.
Ensure all trainers are able to execute the training vision and gauge the effectiveness of training delivered. This is done in collaboration with the Leadership & Development Managers who facilitate trainings in each programme.
Create learning tools, resources, and training sessions for the global training team, which includes Leadership and Development leaders from every programme, that complements trainee learning content.
Continuously improve content and processes with the goal of boosting pupil learning outcomes by increasing teacher and school leader effectiveness.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree
1 or more years of teaching or similar experience
Experience in teacher training or adult learning - designing/facilitating training sessions and coaching adults preferred
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as research and analytical skills and a keen editorial eye.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and G Suite.
A love of travel – you may have opportunities to travel to support our teams in-country
