Duties

Summary: American Conservation Experience, a Non-Profit Conservation Corps in partnership with the National Park Service at Lava Beds National Monument, CA is seeking THREE Interpretation and Education Members to create and provide interpretive programs on the cultural and natural resources of Lava Beds alongside NPS Staff.

Start Date: July 11, 2022
End Date: Nov 14, 2022 or 18 weeks from the start date

* A 18-week minimum commitment is required*

Location: Tulelake, CA

Living Allowance: The ACE Member is expected to contribute ~40 hours/week and will receive a living allowance of $500/week to offset the costs of food and incidental expenses, dispersed bi-weekly.

Housing: ACE members will be accommodated in provided housing at no cost for the duration of the term.

AmeriCorps: This position may be eligible for a 675-hour AmeriCorps Education Award ($2417.14) upon successful completion of service hours.
