EnCompass LLC is seeking an Instructional Technology Specialist II. The Instructional Technology Specialist II will support the Encompass Learning and Leadership Development office in providing innovative approaches to design and provide upkeep to course platforms, e-learning courses, animated videos, and other learning products for diverse clientele. The Instructional Technology Specialist II can work virtually with occasional travel to Rockville, MD.
Instructional Technology Specialist II will work with a diverse team of instructional designers, subject-matter experts, video production leads, animators, and graphic designers to plan and develop professional-standard interactive learning materials using a range of authoring tools.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education, curriculum design, organizational development, communication, instructional design, international development, or related fields
Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing and delivering e-learning programs for international audiences
Membership of the e-Learning Guild or similar professional organization is desirable
Experience in e-learning design and development, multimedia production, and LMS administration for multi-lingual and multi-cultural audiences
Strong proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 and/or Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere and InDesign, and LMS and CMS administration
Strong experience using motion graphics animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects or Vyond) and proficiency in 2D or whiteboard animation highly desirable
Understanding of e-learning standards (SCORM), accessibility guidelines (508), and ability to create e-learning modules to specified brief
Excellent visual design skills with an eye for page layout and graphical styles, and ability to create images and graphics that support and enhance learning content; strong experience using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or other software for graphics editing
Knowledge of the principles of learning, including adult learning and instructional design
Fluency in English required
Ability to work in an appreciative and collaborative environment
