About the organization

Parkmont School is seeking a Humanities (primarily English and/or History) teacher for Grades 6-12. Parkmont is a small progressive school in NW Washington, DC that works with a student group that is exceptionally diverse in learning style, heritage, and socio-economic status. Classes are small, experiential learning and considerable use of field trips are highly valued, and relationships with teachers key to students' success. Great faculty group to join!

Qualifications

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in the field of Humanities and experience working with students needing individualized academic support and creative approaches to learning.
