This position is located in the This position is located in the Office of Mission Support, Office of Administration and Resources Management-Research Triangle Park, Human Resources Management Division in Durham, NC.

At the entry level of this position, you will:

- Work with higher graded specialists to provide advisory and support services for multiple organizations across the Agency;

- Research and/or analyze legislative, regulatory and Agency policy guidance in the area of recruitment and placement, classification, benefits, or labor and employee relations;

- With guidance/oversight from higher graded specialists, evaluate customer needs and recognize potential program issues and/or trends;

- Participate on projects which contribute to innovation, standardization and/or streamlining of human resources services.

When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.

The maximum promotion potential of this position is GS12.
