This position will be responsible for leading and implementing GROW’s Outreach and Convening workstream, providing day to day management of both service areas including ensuring the application of high-quality standards for retreats, meetings, conferences (both in-person and virtual), serving as the Activity Manager for specific convenings and as a virtual co-producer as needed, contributing to convening design, and managing the DRG Center’s contact lists. The Program Manager I will work with the DRG Center Staff and GROW Team to develop marketing and communication materials, as needed, ensuring the DRG Center reaches broader audiences especially outside USAID.
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in supporting complex projects with multiple, simultaneous activities, and have a positive attitude. The ideal candidate has experience in or is passionate about democracy, human rights, governance, adult learning, the design and delivery of effective convenings, and leadership development.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience; or Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience; High School diploma and 10 years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree and 8 years of relevant experience.Degree in Training, Evaluation, Adult Education, Instructional Design, International Communication, International Development, Organizational Development, or a related field.
