The Global Health & Benefits business of Mercer is recruiting for a Global Research and Solutions Senior Associate to join our team located in North America. We are open to the location in which an employee will reside but we require the ability to successfully support the Eastern and European time zones.

We will count on you to work with leadership and professional staff to develop and carry out planning and execution of strategies related to the development of Health & Benefit consulting capabilities and thought leadership, in areas such as workforce health, flexible benefits, harmonization / benchmarking, and plan member communications. In addition, you will support the testing and rollout of new consulting, digital and broking solutions such as deliverable templates (e.g., SOWs, client workshop materials, internal trainings) that can be adapted and used by Health & Benefits consultants around the world for local assignments. You will also own the end-to-end development of at least one global flagship research piece per year.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with senior leaders and join an agile, global team focused on driving local, regional and global growth for our Health & Benefits business (most notably Mercer Marsh Benefits).


Minimum of 4 years of experience in Health & Benefits related Consulting at the country, regional or global level
Knowledge of employee benefit plan issues, processes and evolving market landscape
Enthusiastic about modernization of employee benefits
Self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively on a team
Willingness to tackle and develop solutions to problems that may not initially be clearly defined
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong writing and storytelling skills
Excellent project management and communication skills
Experience in strategy and/or research
Excellent project management and communication skills
