The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has contracted Social Solutions to recruit and hire qualified individuals for the following position:

Title: Global Health Security Data Analyst 

Location: Washington, DC

Salary Range: GS-13 equivalent

The Emerging Threats Division (ETD) implements the USAID’s Global Health Security program to prevent avoidable epidemics, detect threats early, and respond rapidly and effectively to outbreaks. ETD seeks to hire a Data Analyst to manage, analyze and visualize programmatic and publicly available data related to emerging, zoonotic and antimicrobial resistant threats. The Global Health Security Data Analyst is expected to use appropriate statistical approaches and software programs to conduct advanced analyses and to visualize data to inform ETD’s global health security programming and contribute to the global evidence-base on emerging, zoonotic and antimicrobial threats.

Qualification at the GS-13 equivalent Global Health Security Data Analyst level requires a Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Alternately, an individual may qualify at the  GS-13 equivalent Global Health Security Data Analyst level with a with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.

Applicants selected will be subject to a background investigation and must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication as applicable to their position/duties.
