About the organization

BASIS Charter Schools hire Subject Experts, and we give them the freedom to teach! We also hire Student Affairs/non-teaching staff to support our students, academically and socioemotionally. Our robust, world-class curriculum provides unlimited teaching opportunities. All teachers hold a bachelor's degree or higher, and completed coursework in the subject they teach. Many have related professional experience in their field of study. Teacher certification is not required. Each SET specializes in their own area of interest. We provide the "blueprint" or topics to cover for each course. Then, we let the experts teach with creativity and autonomy.
