About the organization
Flourish Furnishings (FF) provides whole home furnishings to those coming out of homelessness, transitional housing or catastrophic events through case management referral. We partner with agencies in the KC area to ensure their clients have free access to complete home furnishings on their road to self-sufficiency. FF prides itself on creating a personal and dignified experience for our clients. We are 100% volunteer run and donation based.
The Fundraising and Communications Coordinator will be instrumental in our fundraising and marketing strategic planning and success. Together we’ll expand and strengthen fundraising strategies, donor development, & grant writing. Work closely with the Executive Director and fundraising committee. Implement and develop engaging & effective communications and marketing tools, which will extend our reach and increase our ability to impact those in need on a long term sustained basis. Engage in ongoing professional development.

Must be 18 years or older, legally able to work in the U.S., and pass a background check
