You will spend 25% of your time on the field, assessing the team’s needs – you will conduct equipment audits, DOT compliance site audits, and inspect equipment for safety and compliance deficiencies. You will also make sure the vehicles are visible and the equipment is fully utilized.
Around 50% of your time will be spent on administrative duties. You will be maintaining CDL and DOT driver records and ensuring their compliance, managing driver logs, and coordinating drug & alcohol testing requirements.
25% of your time will be dedicated to training and reporting. This is the time to shine your communication and presentation skills! You will be designing specs and standards of new equipment and vehicle process including EV infrastructure, conducting compliance and safety training, and monitoring and reporting on safety KPI’s and vehicle locations.
High school Diploma or GED, at least
Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, CDL requirements within Texas and Louisiana.
Understanding of requirements related to trailering, placarding, GVWR, intrastate and interstate transport, IFTA, and HAZMAT.
Ability to use Microsoft Office and online tools.
