About the organization
The Interior Business Center is a federal shared services provider that operates under a fee-for-service, full cost
recovery business model, offering Acquisition, Financial Management and Human Resources systems and services to
-Implement complex systems, modules, functionality, interfaces, and reports for new and existing clients.
-Provide system demos and examples to illustrate system functionality.
-Interact with new or existing clients to establish and determine requirements that map legacy master data, transaction processes, and user responsibilities to the associated "to be" value, process, and responsibility.
-Review system configuration and RICEF-W, perform or review unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
-Perform or review mock conversion testing; perform or review training materials and training delivery; perform or review cutover transition from legacy system to new system and ensure balance.
-Research and review existing and new regulatory guidance from the Department, Treasury, OMB, and GSA to provide input regarding the impact on system requirements.
-Provide guidance to clients and internal staff, evaluate business practices, and interpret changes in financial management policy either mandated by Public Law or prescribed by other authorities.
