Duties

Dexis is seeking for a Finance Associate who will be part of the Department of Finance's Team.  The Finance Associate's main role will be to provide financial review of Direct expenses, make sure all Government and Dexis' regulations and policies are followed, and provide financial support in general.

Review AP Online vouchers for all direct projects.
Follow-up for completion of vouchers in AP Online for direct projects with the respective staff involved at every stage of the process.
Create AP Online vouchers as requested.
Collect, organize, and assemble supporting documentation to be attached to invoices for the clients.
Provide support for the collection and search of documentation requested by auditors.
Prepare project reports and analysis as requested.
Provide support to the Finance Manager on indirect rates adjustments calculation.
Provide support on billing as requested.
Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Accounting or Finance degree required.
3+ years of experience working with International Development projects in the Finance/Accounting area.
Strong knowledge of FAR, AIDAR, GAAP, and JTR.
Thorough understanding of contract types, including CPFF, FP, and T&M contracts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work across all parts of the organization.
Demonstrated experience in identifying areas of risk and focused on compliance.
