Duties

GH TAMS FINANCIAL SUPPORT: 

Review consultant and vendor invoices for coding, compliance and accurate calculations making sure the transaction is fully supported and audit ready. Follow up with consultants and program management staff as needed. 
Enter consultant invoice, vendor invoices, travel advances, and expense reports A/P vouchers and submit to the applicable accounting department(s) to process payment. 
Reconcile travel summary and project credit card statements monthly. 
Scan all payment requests and vendor invoices as well as file in applicable assignment folders following GH-TAMS’ filing structure.  
Send invoices, travel expenses, or advance notifications to consultants and vendors. 
Act as Point of contact for payment confirmations from accounting and ensure they are forwarded to consultants and saved for record keeping. 
Performs other related duties assigned by the GH-TAMS Management Team.  
Work closely with GH-TAMS Program Managers to provide support to ongoing assignments.  
Serve as a liaison between Dexis Finance and GH-TAMS Finance staff.   
Support in monthly client invoicing and preparation of monthly financials and projections. 
DPS FINANCIAL SUPPORT: 
Provide financial support to DPS President in the oversight and management of contract funding and maintain funding pipelines for all contract elements.  
Support DPS Managers to provide funding analysis, budget requests and forecasts as requested.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 

Minimum of 2-4 years accounting or finance experience; USG-funded experience strongly preferred 
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.  
High proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint required. Ability and desire to learn corporate financial management software. 
High proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Shortlisted candidates should expect to pass an assessment of their skills. 
Experience with project management, business development, administration, reporting, monitoring, procurement and financial operations on contracts. 

 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
Experience and/or familiarity with international development, foreign assistance programming, and/or government contracting preferred. 
Previous experience in USAID-funded global health programs desired. 
Oral and written fluency in French desired. 
Strict attention to detail. 
Enthusiasm and ability to learn new skills and collaborate with various teams.  
Superior organizational and time management skills. 
Excellent skills in teamwork and interpersonal communication. 
Drive to thrive in a fast-paced working environment with shifting priorities.
