About the organization
Macfadden is now part of PAE. Founded over 30 years ago, Macfadden has provided federal agencies with critical on-the-ground support to U.S. government humanitarian missions around the world as well as financial and IT system support. Through program management, human resources services, financial management systems support, information technology solutions, knowledge management, travel coordination and communications support, Macfadden enables effective U.S. government humanitarian response to international disasters. Macfadden’s workforce includes approximately 300 employees primarily located in the Washington, D.C. area.
Macfadden is seeking Field Programs Learning Advisors to strengthen learning and feedback loops between field programs and OTI’s Applied Best Practices & Coordination (ABC) team, to ensure ABC’s learning work is responsive to OTI’s country programs. This is a temporary position with a term not expected to exceed 6 months.
A Master’s Degree with five years of work experience; or a bachelor’s degree with seven years of work experience;
Five years of project management experience with a U.S. Government foreign affairs agency, international assistance organization, or non-governmental organization in community development, economic development, mediation/arbitration, conflict resolution, democracy and governance, international law, human rights activities, and/or political analysis;
At least one year of overseas field experience working as senior field management staff for a political transition program or similar position in a country undergoing political transition.
U.S. Citizenship is required; selected candidate must be able to qualify for a government sponsored clearance.
