FEMA is Hiring!(Call for Resumes)

About the organization

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), is federal government agency, under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), that helps people before, during, and after disasters.

FEMA is ready to hire 1500 emergency managers to serve in the front lines of disaster response and recovery. More specifically, we want returned Peace Corps Volunteers! No NCE is needed.

FEMA consistently seeks talented and hard-working people who are eager to assist disaster survivors and first responders on an on-call basis as Reservist employees. They are the main FEMA workforce during an emergency or disaster. We currently have various positions in Emergency Management that we want to fill with qualified applicants.

Job duties vary depending on the job title and office. For more information about the Reservist program, visit https://careers.fema.gov/reservists-program.

If you love to travel (80% or more), you may like our full-time IM-CORE and Field CORE program. Please visit https://careers.fema.gov to learn more.

Reservists travel, receive training, build professional networks and support those in need. The work is available intermittently. Applicants must commit to working on an on-call basis, be available to travel within 24-48 hours, be deployed for 30 or more days and possess a strong work ethic.

Varies depending on experience and education
