About the organization

North Country HealthCare is the primary community health center in the area. In 1991, a small group of doctors and nurses, health and human service representatives and consumers worked together to establish the Flagstaff Community Free Clinic. In 1996, the clinic transitioned from a volunteer organization into a state and federally funded community health center. Today, North Country HealthCare serves 11 communities across Northern Arizona, providing quality, evidence based, medical care to all while building healthier communities.

North Country HealthCare is transforming healthcare for rural Arizona as a Primary Care, Federally Qualified Teaching Health Center. We provide Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Dental, Physical Therapy, and Behavioral Health services to the under-served population throughout northern Arizona. We believe in practicing integrative care in an inclusive culture. We treat some of the most vulnerable rural populations in the United States while supporting North Country's mission. We are proud of our Family Medicine Physician Residency, our medical education programs, and our passionate team.

Lake Havasu City with a population of 57,000 sits on the border of California and is a true desert climate. Weekends are spent on the golf courses, boating, hiking, biking or exploring the nearby hills. You get the benefit of small town living with two larger cities, Las Vegas and Phoenix less than a 3-hour drive.

Attractive total compensation package ranging from $195,500.00 to $215,500.00 dependent on program incentives during first year of practice.

Qualifications

To become a part of our dedicated clinic team, you need the following qualifications:

Have earned an MD or DO degree and completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency
Be board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Prefer working at an FQHC, CHC, (under-served populations)

Salary

$195,500-$215,500
