This position is located in the This position is located in the Office of Mission Support, Office of Administration and Resources Management-Research Triangle Park, Facilities Management and Support Division in Durham, NC.

At the entry level of this position, you will:
- Serve as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on Facilities Services Branch contracts;
- Assist senior staff in planning, organizing, and directing the activities of support contractors;
- Develop reports for facility data involving industry standards, comparison data, water and energy data, etc;
- Assist in the identification of requirements and initiation of requests for additional resources including contractors, overtime, equipment, supplies and space;
- Establish and develop relationships with key customers, representing the Facilities Management and Support Division (FMSD) in a variety of functional areas with program staff.
When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
You will spend more than 50% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
The maximum promotion potential of this position is GS-12.
