About the organization
Gulf Coast JFCS is comprised of over 550 dedicated people committed to improving the lives children and families of all religions and nationalities. The only prerequisite is need. Annually, GCJFCS supports more than 40,000 people throughout Florida. Our programs are designed to protect children from abuse and neglect; to help people overcome substance abuse, to manage mental health, or to gain control of debilitating behaviors; to care for and connect seniors to needed services; to provide emergency financial and food assistance to support Holocaust survivors; and to welcome and help resettle refugees from around the world.
Responsible for coordinating and providing courtroom liaison activities, job development, job placement, case management and assisting in the establishment of responsible parenthood for individuals participating in the Non-Custodial Parent Employment Program. AA Degree or two years of relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement and OJT will be provided. Position is located in Tampa, Florida and requires a valid driver's license with reliable transportation to/from various work locations. New hire must complete the Workforce Professional Certification within the time frame dictated by the Regional Workforce Board.
Provide comprehensive case management to program participants.
Participates in the development of individual employment plan for the participant.
Establishes community-based employment sites for program participants
Provides individualized job development to program participants.
Records, analyzes and reports results of the employment process in a concise and timely fashion by using all appropriate formats.
Provides follow-along services to applicable program participants.
Provides linkage to other applicable internal and external programs.
Maintains confidentiality of client information, employee information and other confidential information covered by regulations or professional ethics.
Completes agency security trainings as well as DCF yearly updated of Security Awareness and HIPPA.
AA Degree in Human Services or related field, with a minimum of two years’ experience
Three years of relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement
Must complete the Workforce Professional Certification within the period instituted by the Program Administrator and dictated by the Regional Workforce Board.
Must be 21 years of age
Must currently possess or be able to obtain a Florida Driver's License and Florida automobile insurance
$15.87 per hour
