About the organization

TLC International School was started by an RPCV in 2006. We opened our doors with just 12 students in preschool and kindergarten. Today the student population has grown to approximately 200 students from over a dozen countries. The academic staff now consists of approximately forty employees from fifteen countries around the world, making TLC a truly international community with over two dozen countries represented amongst both staff and students collectively. TLC International School is now a fully accredited PS-12 school that continues to strive to offer the highest quality education at an affordable price for the students.

Duties

The position will be for an immediate opening of an elementary classroom teacher. The duties include following an American curriculum in all of the core subjects of mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies. We are looking for someone who is concerned not only about the academics, but the SEL of the students. The students will be pulled out for foreign language specials including French and Arabic. The classroom will have up to 16 students.

Qualifications

All candidates must have at least two years of teaching experience. They must also have a teaching certificate or in the process of obtaining their teaching certificate. They must have a growth mindset, be patient, flexible, and vested in getting the most out of our students.

Salary

Along with a base salary, furnished housing, utilities, round trip air fare, SOS insurance, and moving in allowance.
