Duties
Responsibilities
Strategy and Portfolio Growth
•Help lead development of CHAI’s overall SRMNH strategy, including development of goals, strategies, and resource mobilization
•Lead GSRH participation in the development and execution of supply side strategies with the Global Markets team
•Lead the development and implementation of CHAI’s demand-side SRH product strategies
Program Leadership
•Set direction and oversee implementation of all supplies workstreams (e.g. HIUD, GFPVAN, SEMA, UNFPA, DMPA SC, COF, MA Combipack, LNG 1.5, Implants)
•Set direction and oversee grant management of supplies focused grants (RHSC GFPVAN, CIFF LNG 1.5, CIFF COF, FCDO, BMGF HIUD, BMGF DMPA SC—TBD)
Team Management
•Support administrative, operational, human resource, recruitment, and finance functions on the team as needed
•Role model the values and mission of CHAI and the team norms of Global SRH
Qualifications
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree, and at least ten years of working experience with increasing levels of responsibility, team management, and leadership
•Experience working in resource-limited settings, particularly sub-Saharan Africa
•Supply chain experience, preferably within contraceptive or maternal health markets
•Excellent organizational and project management skills; proven ability to set direction and structure, prioritize among complex options, and uphold high performance expectations
•High emotional intelligence, patience, and thoughtfulness even in high-pressure, stressful situations
•Passionate about people development and able to help diverse team members improve skills and performance through coaching and consistent supportive accountability
•Highly entrepreneurial with strong self-motivation
•Strong work ethic, integrity, credibility, and dedication to CHAI’s mission
•Strong commitment to values of diversity, equity and inclusion
Advantages
•Past experience in a management role on CHAI’s country or global teams
•Relationships and/or expertise in SRH
•Experience in fundraising for global health or SRH from major donor organizations
•Experience working remotely with a decentralized/remote team
•Master’s degree in public health or business
Salary
120000 - 150000 / Yearly Salary
